65G ― This steel is used for the manufacture of springs, springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs and various parts that require increased wear resistance and parts that work without shock loads. Steel 65G is used as knife steel (but, unlike stainless knife steel 40X13, knives made of steel 65G are subject to oxidation). It is used for the manufacture of wagon wheel rims.
