Copper anode, Dnepropetrovsk region.

Copper anodes, used to obtain a layer of copper on the surface of the metal, are made of M1 grade copper, more often from MF and AMF alloys. Copper anodes are usually used to carry out galvanic processes. Production of anodes is carried out according to GOST, and copper anodes of GOST 767-91 meet all the characteristics. The totality of all processes that take place during electrolysis directly depends on the quality of the copper used. If the copper anodes of the AMF will not respond to the guest, a sludge will form in the solution, due to which the copper may undergo passivation of the anodes, which will worsen the quality of the coating. To prevent the appearance of sludge, anode covers are sometimes used, which are made of polypropylene fabric.
