Benefits of Abyssinian mustard (crumbe):
1. High yield and oiliness of the seeds, a short growing season, which allows it to be grown almost everywhere, resistance to abiotic and biotic factors of the external environment.
2. The introduction of Abyssinian krambe in crop rotation will contribute to the increase of biodiversity in crop production.
3. In terms of seed yield, krambe is inferior only toradish oil radish, but despite this, it is more promising due to the fact that the latter is very poorly milked from the pods and therefore requires higher costs for post-harvest processing of the crop.
4. Compared to traditional oil crops from the cabbage family, krambe is poorly colonized by dominant pests of cabbage crops and does not require chemical protection.
