Alfalfa variety "TIMBALE"
It is quite new for our country, but managed to prove itself as a variety,
which gives a lot ofnutritious fodder and is resistant to lodging and frequent mowing!
Morphological signs:
An upright bush.
The stem is round in shape, green in color, from medium to long.
The leaves are green, of medium length.(//tractor-service.com)
Inflorescence - a shortened brush, banato-flowered, of medium density.
Purple flowers. Seeds kidney-shaped, yellow.
Economic and biological characteristics: 150
Зимостійкий, стійкий до вилягaння і посухи сорт.
During the years of testing in 2011-2013, the average yield of dry matter was 136 t/ha, the maximum was 248 t/ha.
During the growing season, it gives stable 3-4 slopes, with intensive cultivation up to 5 slopes. Protein content in dry matter 17.8%, protein yield 24.6 c/ha.
Optimum sowing dates:
March-April, July-August
