It is used in all soil and climatic zones of sunflower cultivation on fields with a slope of up to 8°. The harvester is most effectively used when harvesting sunflowers in the stage of full ripeness in the optimal harvesting period at a speed of up to 6 km/h on crops with the following main characteristics:
— the height of the stem is no more than 230 cm;
— the distance from the ground to the most inclined baskets is at least 60 cm;
— moisture content of seeds from 12 to 20%, moisture content of baskets no more than 60%;
— field littering must comply with accepted technological norms and not exceed 5%, while weeds must not prevent the normal progress of the technological process;
— the harvester is designed for operation in fields with a slope of up to 8º at an air temperature from minus 5 to plus 45 ºС;
— the fields on which the harvester works must have a leveled surface. There should be no extraneous objects (stones, metal objects, etc.) on the fields.
