This product is ainsecticide for fumigation, which is mainly used for fumigation and destruction of various pestsstored grain, seeds, goods and indoors, and it can also be used to exterminate rats. Aluminum phosphide absorbs moisture from the air and releases toxic phosphine gas. Phosphine enters the insect's body through the respiratory system, acts on the respiratory chain of mitochondria and cytochrome oxidase, suppressing the normal breathing of the insect and causing its death. The oxygen content plays an important role in the absorption of phosphine by insects. Phosphine is hardly inhaled by insects in anaerobic conditions and does not exhibit toxicity. In the presence of oxygen, phosphine can be inhaled and cause the death of insects.
