Anyone who has used air conditioners knows that in cool weather it is much more profitable to heat the room with the help of an air conditioner than with a simple electric heater. This is due to the fact that the thermal efficiency coefficient of any refrigerating machine is always higher than that of a conventional classic electric heater. This is because the heat pump in its essence does not produce energy by transferring it from one form to another, but simply transports it from one point to another. Thanks to this, the consumption of electricity for heat transportation is reduced many times. This is the main advantage of the heat pump over other devices that produce thermal energy.
