Range of action:
Blue Bordeaux® VG is a well-known and effective contact fungicide against a wide range of pathogens, in particular against the most economically dangerous ones: on apple trees against scab, bacterial burn, leaf spots, bacterial cancer or rotten bark and common cancer (nectria); on grapes against mildew and anthracnose; on tomatoes and potatoes - against Phytophthora, Alternaria and a number of bacterial diseases. The active substance, copper sulfate, has been successfully used for decades in many countries of the world, on many agricultural crops: fruit, vegetables, and grapes. Thanks to the physicochemical features of the formulation, excellent adhesion to the plant surface is ensured, which makes the drug indispensable in its application in early spring or autumn after
harvesting to reduce the infectious background, even in unstable weather conditions. The drug provides a powerful protective effect against the penetration of the pathogen into the plant. The mechanism of action of the drug consists in the binding of copper ions to functional groups of protein molecules of pathogens, which causes protein denaturation, causing cell damage and their death.

Compatibility:
Mixing with preparations that contribute to the formation of an acidic environment should be avoided: preparations that contain fosetyl-Al and nitrogen-containing preparations for foliar feeding that contain ammonium ions (NH4+). Incompatibility with preparation forms may also be observed: suspension concentrates containing oil and liquid concentrates.
Before use, be sure to make sure that there are no warnings from tank partners indicated by the manufacturer on the label. A physical and chemical compatibility test is recommended.
