Grain yield is 81-83%.
Yellow grain-orange, tooth-shaped.
The weight of 1000 grains is 300-330 g.
A hybrid of the homeostatic type of the southern ecotype, characterized by significant endurance to drought.
Compared to the benchmark hybrid, Podilskyi 274 SV has better indicators in terms of grain moisture content (by 2-3%).
Resistant to stem and vegetative lodging, as well as to the impact of powdery mildew diseases.
During the observation period, the colonization of the crops by the corn moth and the cotton bollworm was insignificant.
The hybrid responds well to the improvement of growing conditions, is characterized by the stability of the grain yield during the entire observation period.
In 2017, the maximum yield was obtained by irrigation in the IZZ of the National Academy of Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences - 13.12 t/ha, with a grain moisture content of 17.0% at harvest.
Cultivation zone – Steppe, Forest Steppe. The recommended pre-harvest density of plants in the steppe zone is 50-55 thousand/ha, in the forest-steppe - 70-75 thousand/ha. Peculiarities of seed production. Compared to the hybrids Podilskyi 274 SV and Rozivskyi 311 MV, which are close in terms of genetics, F1 has significantly better seed production. The seeds of the first generation at the hybridization sites are grown on a sterile basis according to the fertility restoration scheme. Recommended seeding patterns of parent components are 6:2 and 4:2. Parental components are sown simultaneously. According to the results of tests in 2015-2017, the average yield of the parent component was 4.72 t/ha, and the moisture content of the grain was 18.1%.
