Anti-icing reagent, anti-ice, anti-snow - BISHOFIT crystal intended for combating winter ice on highways, roads, sidewalks and other economic areas.
The use of crystalline bischofite instead of the traditional sand-salt mixture, in addition to the ecological effect, has the following operational and economic advantages:
- the material also does not have a harmful effect on rubber parts of cars, it acts more gently than other reagents on road construction materials and coatings, because it reduces the leaching of alkaline components from concrete.
- higher speed of ice removal on roads and reduction of accidents due to higher reactivity and duration of action of the material
- the absence of costs associated with cleaning the road surface, storm sewers and the removal of deposits accumulated during the winter period(//tractor-service.com)
- reduction of annual costs for planting green trees and making a fertile layer of soil along the road
- an increase in the service life of paving slabs due to the lack of exposure to abrasive impurities, such as sand and granite chips
- higher melting capacity - 15.6 g/g at minus 10 oС against 0.9 g/g in a sand-salt mixture at the same temperature and, accordingly, a proportionally lower effective consumption of the reagent
- several times lower corrosion activity compared to steel, due to the low corrosion of the main component - magnesium chloride and the presence of inhibitors in the composition (0.25 mm per hour against 0.8 in technical salt)
