World experience of using Chanon Herbicide:
Carrot, onion.
Mechanism of action of Chanon Herbicide:
Aclonifen (a chemical group of diphenyl ethers) disrupts the synthesis of chlorophyll in weed plants. The active substance is absorbed by the coleoptile, hypocotyl and cotyledons, but not by the root system, and then moves to the meristem tissues of the weed plant. Chanon's action leads to the accumulation of phyton in the plant, which inhibits the synthesis of chlorophyll and other photosynthetically active pigments. Consequently, the growth of germinating and young weeds stops, and they die after 2-3 weeks.
Recommendations for the use of Chanon Herbicide:
Chanon enters the weed through the hypocotyl and cotyledons, but not through the root system, mixing with the soil or breaking the protective screen can lead to a sharp decrease in effectiveness;
light has no negative effect on the stability of the active substance;
the drug is insensitive to soil moisture during application, but effective work is manifested during favorable conditions for weed germination;
the preparation weakly migrates along the soil profile even during heavy rainfall.
Proven tank mixes of Chanon Herbicide:
Compatible with other soil herbicides that have a neutral reaction. Before preparing working mixtures, it is advisable to check the drugs for compatibility.
For post-emergence application on sunflower, it is not recommended to make mixtures with any tank partners (plant protection agents, surfactants, microfertilizers).
Crop rotation when using Chanon Herbicide:
It does not show the effects of the following crops in crop rotation.
