Mechanism of action:
The active substance of the fungicide (azoxystrobin, 250 g/l) penetrates the plant body through the leaves and begins to actively move from the bottom up. Azoxystrobin inhibits sporulation and germination of hyphae, and also destroys fungal appressoria. As a result, the causative agents of fungal diseases die.
Fungicide is applied by spraying plants in the early stages of disease development. Usually, spraying is carried out in the morning or in the evening in warm, relatively dry, windless weather at an air temperature of +15...+22°C.
Quite often, the fungicide is used in tank mixtures with other fungicides, herbicides and insecticides that do not have an alkaline reaction. However, in order to avoid resistance in pathogens, it is recommended to alternate the application of Starlight fungicide with fungicides that have a different active ingredient.
