Effect and indications for the use of oil.
St. John's wort oil has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, anti-septic, antibacterial, absorbent, vaso-strengthening effect. The use of St. John's wort oil is especially promising in dermatological practice and cosmetology. This oil is one of the best anti-burn and wound-healing agents. In medical practice, St. John's wort oil is used for various types of skin lesions - burns, frostbite, abscesses, boils, hemorrhages from bruises, infected wounds. The oil promotes tissue regeneration without scarring. It is effective in the treatment of stomatitis and periodontitis, herpetic rash, chest pain in children, diathesis and allergic dermatitis, as well as
couperosis, varicose veins and vitiligo. St. John's wort prevents moisture loss and normalizes the composition of the hydrolipidic layer of the skin.
