Advantages:
A balanced combination of the most powerful triazole and the most systemic strobilurin in one preparation - 150 g/l of each active substance
High efficiency against the most widespread and harmful diseases of wheat and sunflower.
Flexible application time - from the end of tillering to the beginning of earing in wheat and from 4 leaves to the middle of flowering in sunflower
Contributes to increasing yield and improving grain quality, including due to the so-called "green effect".
Mechanism of action:
Prothioconazole disrupts the biosynthesis of ergosterol (the main component of cell membranes) in the body of fungi.
Azoxystrobin disrupts the activity of the electron transport chain in the process of ATP synthesis. In addition to the fungicidal effect, azoxystrobin enhances the activity of nitrate reductase and the synthesis of indolyl acetic acid and abscisic acid, and also provokes a decrease in the production of ethylene, which leads to a delay in aging and a prolonged efficiency of photosynthesis - a phenomenon known as the "green effect".
Absorption and movement in the plant:
Prothioconazole is quickly absorbed and moves along the conducting system of the plant acropetally (from bottom to top), affects pathogens that are already developing in the plant.
Azoxystrobin is a systemic active substance, transported through the xylem, protecting new growth. And it also moves translaminarly, which allows you to protect the side of the leaf that was not exposed to the working solution.
Features of application:
Joust® Pro acts both prophylactically and curatively, which is especially important in the protection of winter
cereal crops, where at the time of the first treatment in the spring, the plants are most likely already infected with such diseases as septoriosis and powdery mildew. Due to prothioconazole, treatment with Joust® Pro allows you to quickly stop the development of diseases, and the effect of azoxystrobin provides prevention and restrains the spread of diseases. The combination of two active substances with different mechanisms of action reduces the risk of resistance in pathogens.
Avoid using Joust® Pro on crops exposed to adverse environmental conditions, such as frost, high temperatures, drought, flooding, etc., if these conditions have affected the growth and development of the crop.
