The double-row potato planter for a minitractor is a continuation of the line of planters of our production. A characteristic feature of this model is the presence of two enlarged hoppers, the effective volume of which is 60 liters each. The KS12 potato planter can be aggregated with a minitractor equipped with a 3-point hitch.

Design features:

Connection to the minitractor is carried out with the help of a 3-point hitch. Universal two-sided fingers (Ø22 mm and Ø27 mm) are installed at the base of the hitch unit. There are two holes Ø22.5 mm and Ø 27 mm each in the upper attachment point. These parameters are suitable for connection to T-25 and T-40 type tractors.

The dosing device is based on a chain transmission that has proven itself well in our previous developments, in which potato baskets are attached to a chain. The chain has 104 links, 13 baskets with a diameter of 50 mm are installed. The distance between the baskets is 8 links.

The bunker is made of sheet steel with a thickness of 1 mm. The frame at the base of the KS12 potato planter is made of a 40x40x4 mm corner. The lanyard fastening collar to the hopper has a thickness of 5 mm, and the corresponding fastening plate has a thickness of 8 mm. The lower base of the towing device is made of a 6x40 mm steel strip.

Wheels-ground studs have a diameter of 318 mm, rim thickness is 4 mm, width 150 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 30 mm. The shafts of the potato planter are connected to each other by a special sleeve. Each bunker has an individual drive with stars.

The opener is made of 2 mm thick sheet steel.

Disc harrows with a diameter of 275 mm, made of sheet steel with a thickness of 2 mm, are installed for hilling the planted potatoes. A pair of 202 bearings is installed.

It is possible to adjust the planting step in a row, options are available for installation of 200 mm and 250 mm. The width between rows is fixed - 600 mm.

There is also an option of an additional option - installation of a seat for the operator. The potato planter has brackets for installing supporting profiles, on which this seat can be installed with the help of clamps.

The rotating moment from the wheels of the potato planter is transmitted to the shaft, on which the stars are installed, with the help of which the planting step in the row is adjusted. The drive stars are connected to the star of the upper shaft by a chain transmission, there is also a chain stabilizer. A pair of stars is also installed inside the mine - an upper and a lower one, which are connected to each other by a chain on which cells for potatoes are installed.

With the help of a wedge-shaped coulter, the potato planter cuts the bed. Stacked potatoes fall asleep with the help of diskouchnikovs.

The optimal working speed of the minitractor is 5 km/hour.
